Aging and Developmental Disabilities Information Group - for Families of Adults with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability
Facilitator - Janet Miller, Respite Across the Lifespan Associate at Munroe-Meyer Institute

Are you seeing changes in your adult son or daughter with Down syndrome? Are their skills showing signs of decline? Have you noticed any changes in their mood or interest in things they had been interested in before? Would you like to visit with other family members who share your same concerns?

This is an information and support group for family members that have concerns and would like to visit with one another. The meetings will be held on the second Tuesday evenings of each month for about an hour and a half.

Facilitator Bio - "My name is Janet Miller and I have a 40-year old daughter. Jennifer was diagnosed with probable early-onset Alzheimer’s disease about one year ago. My husband and I had many questions about changes we were seeing and struggled to find others to visit with about this. We struggled to find a doctor that would meet with us and help address the issues we were seeing. In June I completed a training on dementia care for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and have information I would love to share with you, if you are interested."
